African Leadership believes in always having the chance to LEARN, GROW AND THRIVE.

Our mission is simple: BUILD COMMUNITIES THAT EMPOWER AND CREATE LASTING CHANGE.

OUR APPROACH

We take a TWO-GENERATION APPROACH to community development because children’s outcomes depend on household stability. African Leadership invests in children’s education while supporting adults in building reliable livelihoods. By working with families together, we address root causes of instability instead of isolated needs.

OUR IMPACT

Our work delivers measurable results across multiple countries through integrated family support. Children gain access to EDUCATION AND YEAR-ROUND CARE, while families secure FOOD AND INCOME through livelihood initiatives. These combined outcomes strengthen households and support sustained community progress.

OUR UNIQUE METHOD

African Leadership applies a HOLISTIC, COMMUNITY-CENTERED MODEL grounded in participation and shared investment. Adults build skills through ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CONSTRUCTION and apply them to projects such as FISH FARMING. This method builds ownership, increases food access, and strengthens family economies.

DIMBY RAKOTOSON   -  Entrepreneur

Before the training, I didn’t know how to grow my business. I just did what I thought was best. But now, I have a clear plan and the tools to improve. I learned that by thinking big and starting small, we can turn small ideas into something great. This training is helping not only my business, but also Madagascar’s economy by bringing people together and building stronger businesses and communities.
